ATI Physical Therapy Opens Third Aurora, IL Clinic

Aurora, IL - Residents of Chicago's far western suburbs now have another convenient location to access to friendliest physical therapists in the business. ATI Physical Therapy, a nationally-recognized provider of outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, opened a new clinic at 1515 Butterfield Road, Unit 105 in Aurora, IL, on June 17.

“At ATI we have beautiful clinics and sophisticated tools, but it is the people that really make the difference,” said Jason Hafner, Senior Vice President of Operations, ATI Physical Therapy. “We develop a personal connection with our patients to ensure they are meeting their goals and also enjoying their time with us.”

Justin Velarde, DPT, of Oswego, has been named clinic director of ATI Aurora North. Velarde received his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Governor State University in University Park, IL. He has a special interest in working with post-operative shoulders and knees, as well as sports medicine. Velarde is currently completing advanced course work to become a certified integrated manual therapist. He enjoys staying active by playing golf and recreational sports.

ATI Aurora North is ATI's third clinic in Aurora. ATI's other clinics are located at 2121 W. Indian Trail Road and 4334 Fox Valley Center Drive. In addition, ATI provides athletic trainers to cover the sports programs at Aurora University, Aurora Central Catholic High School, and Eclipse Select Soccer Club.

Recognized for exceptional results, ATI provides physical therapy and sports medicine in a friendly and motivating environment. Named “Best Physical Therapy Practice in the Nation” by Advance Rehab Magazine, ATI has also achieved URAC Core Accreditation, a mark of distinction that recognizes ATI's commitment to quality health care.

In addition to providing top patient care in state-of-the-art facilities, ATI provides free transportation services for those with medical need, expanded hours and new appointments within 48 hours. Unique to the industry, ATI operates a dedicated in-house research department to improve rehabilitation outcomes through basic science, transitional research, and evidence-based medicine.

ATI supports the community through the ATI Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists children with physical impairments in need of medical resources and funding to enhance and sustain a better quality of life.

Founded in 1996, ATI's approach to patient care has led to expansive growth. ATI Physical Therapy now provides services at over 90 locations in Illinois and has more than 200 clinics nationwide.

“As we have grown, we've benefitted from the advantages of a larger company but have retained the same positive, smaller mom-and-pop shop feel at every one of our clinics,” said Jason Hafner, Senior Vice President, ATI Physical Therapy. “We are committed to being a part of the community and making sure everyone of our patients feels special.”
