Can’t kick this can down road any more

After years of executive and legislative leaders “kicking the pension can down the road” Illinois is now facing almost $100 billion in unfunded pension liabilities.

That can is now a 55 gallon drum … filled with concrete. We can’t kick this problem down the road any more.
