John Carlson, managing broker of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Downers Grove office, has been awarded the prestigious NRT President's Council for Managers Award, an exceptional honor recognizing the top 20 percent of office sales managers who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and management skills. NRT is the parent company of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
The NRT President's Council represents the top 20 percent of sales office managers from NRT's approximately 725 sales offices across the nation, based on performance criteria that include real estate sales, mortgage services, and overall office performance. President's Council award recipients guided their sales teams in providing remarkable service that helped buyers and sellers achieve the best possible results. Carlson is the only managing broker in the Chicagoland area who qualified for the President's Council for Managers award this year.
Carlson began his successful career with Coldwell Banker in 1991 and soon became the top producing agent in his office from 1992-1999. He was later appointed manager in 2003. With a hands-on approach, Carlson provides his agents with one-on-one technology training and coaching sessions in order to understand the individual needs of each and every agent. Also important to Carlson is creating a warm and cohesive office environment for his agents and staff, which he encourages by conducting on-going team building events throughout the year.
