Beware of China buying our companies

China wants to buy Smithfield and control pork production in the U.S. Before you think that’s OK, I urge you and every teenager to senior to read “Death By China.” China will control pork today and cereal and other agricultural products tomorrow. Americans see short-term results; the Chinese see long-term gains. The book, by Peter Navarro, explains the not-so-free trade relations, the lack of oversight in health and safety, their military buildup, and the future of the world — if there is one.
