Friends of Palatine Library plan Summer Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Palatine Public Library will hold a Summer Used Book Sale from Friday, June 21, through Sunday, June 23.

The selection of materials includes books, several hundred DVDs, and CDs donated by the community and available at a deep discount. The used book sales are always a popular event at the Palatine library. Be sure and come early to check out the great selection and pricing that the sale offers.

Sale hours are:

Ÿ Friday June 21: 6-9 p.m., members no charge, nonmembers $5.

Ÿ Saturday, June 22: 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m., free admission.

Ÿ Sunday, June 23: 12:30-3 p.m., free admission, half price day.

All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Palatine Public Library District. The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program and has allocated funds for meeting room renovations.
