Dessert for Autism at the Continental Restaurant

The Continental Restaurant in Buffalo Grove hosted a benefit for Autism Speaks in honor of Jonah Brenner a nine year old Buffalo Grove resident who has been diagnosed with Autism.

Jonah's Jedi force was created last year when Jonah's family and friends began raising money to support Autism Speaks, a national organization that promotes understanding, support, and research of Autism.

When Jonah's mother Polly approached Pete Panayiotou, the owner of the Continental, to organize a fundraiser he was only too happy help. "Pete is an amazing asset to our community" said Polly, Jonah's father Johnathan indicated that they have been going to the Continental Restaurant for years and it in one of Jonah's favorite places to eat.

All proceeds from dessert sales on Friday and Saturday night (June 14 & 15) will be donated to Autism Speaks in honor of Jonah.
