Libertyville welcomes back vintage car show

Celebrating its 11th year, MainStreet Libertyville’s Car Fun on 21 classic cruise night takes place the third Wednesday of each month through September.

From 6-9 p.m., vintage cars 25 years old and older will be displayed on Church Street in downtown Libertyville. Attendees can grab sandwiches from Fine’s or ice cream from Culver’s of Libertyville, listen to the sounds of Rhythm Bureau and take a stroll down memory lane.

Anyone who is interested in displaying a car in the event can use the Brainerd Avenue entrance. It is not necessary to register. Volunteers will be available to direct the cars to the parking spots beginning at 5 p.m.

The car show is scheduled for June 19, July 17, Aug. 21 and Sept. 18. June 19 will feature vintage fire trucks.
