Submitted by South Elgin Parks and Recreation

The South Elgin Parks and Recreation Department invites you and your family to attend a community input meeting for the SEBA Park at 151 S. Water St.

The public forums will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 13, in the Municipal Annex at 1 W. State St.

This meeting is designed for residents of South Elgin to come and give their input on the amenities for the park’s construction. Members of Hitchcock Design Group, as well as staff from the South Elgin Parks and Recreation, will be on hand to listen to your input that will assist the department in creating the best park for all of South Elgin.

For more information, call Jim Reuter, director, at (847) 622-0003.

Every resident and business in South Elgin has received a giving letter from Playground Committee Chairwoman Karen Cluchey. The letter offers the chance to be part of the legacy and help the FUNdation build the all-inclusive playground at SEBA Park.

This park is an important component of the downtown development as it will not only be the first of its kind, but will be a regional destination for people of all ages and abilities.
