Two Chicago men are facing charges after Cook County deputies found 44 pounds of marijuana during an eviction this week on the city’s South Side.

Officials said Friday that the drugs have a street value of about $200,000.

They were found Wednesday, along with two guns and ammunition.

Rosendo Diaz, 28, and Israel Fernandez, 29, are both facing drug charges. Diaz is also facing a weapons charge.

Telephone listings for the men couldn’t be found.
