2 dead, 2 critically injured in Wisconsin crash

JUNEAU, Wis. — Dodge County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a crash involving a semi and three other vehicles that killed two people and critically injured two others.

Lt. Brian Loos says one of the vehicles was trying to pass another when the crash happened Thursday about 4 p.m. in the town of Herman. The collision involved a semi, SUV, pickup truck and passenger car.

Authorities say four people in the SUV were thrown from the vehicle. A woman in the SUV was killed. A woman and toddler in the SUV were critically injured. A fourth person in the SUV, a male, was also injured. A man in the pickup truck died at the scene. Loos tells the State Journal the semi driver and a woman in the car were not seriously injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
