Nothing but the negative sports spin

I just finished reading the sports pages of the Daily Herald. I have to say, your writers are the biggest bunch of gloomy Gus’s I’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter — they can find the negative in any story.

It was amusing to read your paper when the Blackhawks were on their record breaking winning streak and the writers didn’t know how to cover the story. They were at their wits end to cover it. They don’t do good news well.

When the Hawks struggled in the playoffs, the D-H sports writers couldn’t pound out the negative news fast enough. I sure hope the Hawks go on to win the Stanley Cup. And if they do, your writers will be right there as if they had never lost faith. Go Hawks!
