Nominations open for Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards

The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is once again looking for nominations of community members who care.

The 2013 Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards will be awarded to community volunteers and caring individuals in the following categories: Community, Senior and Youth Volunteer awards, a Teach & Inspire award and awards for Business Philanthropy, going “Above and Beyond” and a group award, Together We Can.

The Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards will be presented at a celebration gala event on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Arboretum Club, in Buffalo Grove.

The chamber encourages residents and businesses of Buffalo Grove to make nominations for these awards. Nominations can be made on the chamber’s website, www.buffalogrovechamber.org. Forms can also be downloaded from the website or are available at the Buffalo Grove village hall and the chamber office at 50½ Raupp Blvd., behind village hall. Feel free to nominate more than one person for any and all awards. Nominations must be received by Friday, Sept. 13 to be eligible for this year’s awards.
