Crews fixing Galena Boulevard sinkhole in Aurora

Crews from the Fox Metro Water Reclamation District will start work at 7 a.m. Thursday on Galena Boulevard in Aurora to repair a sinkhole adjacent to a Fox Metro sewer.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area just east of Farnsworth Avenue. Crews are going to attempt to avoid encroaching within the traffic lanes of Farnsworth Avenue, but they made need to close one lane at some point. Galena Boulevard east of Farnsworth Avenue has already been closed.
