Alliant Credit Union employees donate clothing to Goodwill

Employees of Alliant Credit Union recently contributed to Alliant’s sixth annual Spring Fling clothing drive, resulting in the donation of thousands of gently used clothing items to Goodwill, according to the credit union’s president and chief executive officer David Mooney. The many bags of clothing were delivered to the Goodwill Donation Center in Des Plaines.

“The generosity of our employees and their commitment to those in need of assistance is truly heartwarming,” Mooney said.

The Spring Fling Clothing Drive was planned and coordinated by Alliant’s Civic Affairs Committee. Clothing was collected at Alliant’s Chicago area offices.

The sales of donations to Goodwill help fund job training programs, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience or face employment challenges.
