Armed Forces salute Saturday at Cabela’s

A Salute to the Armed Forces ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, in the parking lot at Cabela’s, 5225 Prairie Stone Parkway in Hoffman Estates. The ceremony will be led by Capt. Thomas Carter, retired from the infantry. It will include a performance by the Riverside-Brookfield High School drill team. The guest speaker is Marine Lt. Col. Patricia Klop, who was the Marines woman athlete of the year in 1995.
