St. Charles business collecting food for Community Crisis Center

Sensible Threadz, a discount retail and resale store at 208 S. Kirk Road, St. Charles, is collecting food items for the month of May for the Community Crisis Center in Elgin. Customers can bring in 3-5 dry or nonperishable food items and receive a $5 credit toward their purchases, which can be used anytime.
The Community Crisis Center in Elgin was founded in 1975 by a group of volunteers to meet the needs of individuals and families in crises.
Employees provide comprehensive services to individuals and families in crises due to domestic violence, sexual assault or financial difficulties. The Crisis Center is one of the oldest domestic violence shelters in the state.
