Barrington Art Festival
Amdur Productions, a nationally recognized art festival production company, in collaboration with the
Village of Barrington and the Barrington Cultural Commission, proudly presents the fourth annual
Barrington Art Festival. More than 130 artists from across the country will showcase their original works at the festival over Memorial Day Weekend. Taking place in the heart of Downtown Barrington at Cook and Station Streets, the Barrington Art Festival returns for its fourth year on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST) daily.
“We are delighted to return to Barrington for a fourth year,” says Amy Amdur, founder of Amdur
Productions. “The supportive, art loving community of Barrington have made all of our past events a
wonderful success and we look forward to continuing the tradition this year.”
FREE and open to the public, the Barrington Art Festival offers the work of 130 juried artists from around
the world in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, photography,
watercolors and wood. A variety of price-points ensures the festival offers something for everyone.
Festival-goers will have an opportunity to learn more about the artistic process by watching live art
demos in the artist's tents throughout the weekend.
Live music, delicious festival fare and fun art activities for kids, including an art scavenger hunt, make the Barrington Art Festival a destination for art enthusiasts of all ages! Art enthusiasts will have a chance to make their own creations by contributing to an on-site Art Graffiti Wall!
Daily drawings take place at the festival where several lucky festival-goers will receive Art Buck$, courtesy of Amdur Productions, to spend on a piece of art at any of Amdur Productions' 2013 festivals!
