Fond du Lac police involved in standoff

FOND DU LAC, Wis. — SWAT team officers have surrounded an apartment building in Fond du Lac.

Police say a despondent man is believed to be armed in an apartment with an 18-year-old woman.

Authorities were called to the apartment building about 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
