Tell GOP it’s time for compromise
I thank Ken Wuestenfeld and Alice Coughlin-Ryan for their letters regarding Social Security cuts. I thoroughly agree with them about this, but I think that in addition to writing to the Fence Post they should be writing to Rep. Paul Ryan and the other Republican congressmen who are responsible for proposing the cuts. The president’s hands are tied if the Republicans won’t give an inch and won’t compromise on the budget.
