Palatine man pleads guilty to sexual assault

A Palatine man was sentenced to three years in prison in exchange for his guilty plea on charges he assaulted a woman during a party last August.
Daniel Felix-Sanchez, 29, pleaded guilty this week to criminal sexual assault in a Rolling Meadows courtroom.
His sentence was the maximum allowed for the class 4 felony.
Authorities say Felix-Sanchez molested the woman after she became incapacitated. She awoke to find him assaulting her, prosecutors said.
Felix-Sanchez, who has no criminal background, must complete at least 50 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole. He was also ordered to have no contact with the woman.
