Brueckbauer earns full-ride ROTC scholarship

Mundelein High School senior, John Brueckbauer, has been selected for a four-year National Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps [ROTC] scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This is full-ride scholarship and Brueckbauer was recognized as being in the Top 10 percent of all recipients nationwide. He is ranked 19th in his senior class with a 4.36 weighted grade point average.

“John's greatest asset lies in his leadership ability,” said George Kaider, guidance counselor and head football coach at MHS. “John cares deeply about others and it shows in the relationships he has made with his peers and MHS staff. I am proud to know John and am excited for his opportunity to live out his dream of being a naval officer,” he said.
