Administrator Justice to hold seminar for grandparents

Grandparents are an integral part of many children’s lives and are taking a more active role in the upbringing of their grandkids.

On Thursday, May 2, Administer Justice is hosting a free seminar on grandparents rights from noon to 1 p.m. at the organization’s Elgin office, 750 Grandstand Place, Suite 15. Participation is free but registration is required. To register, email seminars@administerjustice.org or call (847) 844-1100.

Attorney Rory Weiler of St. Charles will provide important information on grandparents’ rights and how they are impacting today’s family dynamics. He has been practicing family law in Illinois for more than 31 years and is a volunteer with Administer Justice.

Administer Justice, a nonprofit legal aid takes a holistic approach to client care providing free civil legal assistance, financial counseling, conflict resolution services and education to low income individuals. The organization served more than 6,500 individuals in 2012 with the help of hundreds of volunteers who donated more than 11,000 hours.
