Retired teachers spring meeting

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association hosts its annual spring meeting on May 14 at the Illinois Beach State Park Conference and Resort Center, Wadsworth Road and Lake Front Drive, near Zion. The cost is $23 per person. Reservations are required and must be received by Tuesday, May 7. Featured speaker is Eileen Vorbach in a program called “Equality of Right”, depicting the life of Elizabeth Kady Stanton who wrote speeches for Susan B. Anthony. The cash bar opens around 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon begins at 12:15 p.m. All retired educators are welcome to attend.
