Let’s question U.S. purchases of arms
Why is the U.S. government buying up 1.6 billion bullets for Homeland Security? Many of these are hollow-point bullets. This will create a shortage of bullets for the American people.
As of 2:30 p.m. Chicago time on April 4, the United States had a population of 315,613,662. That means there are 5.07 bullets for every man, woman and child in America. In reality it is even more. I’m not even counting the bullets the U.S. government had stockpiled in its arsenal before this monumental purchase.
Why does it need “hollow points,” which are more destructive and cost twice as much? If you add in other factors, it becomes even more disturbing. The government is trying to eliminate guns in society. This could make the citizens helpless in case of a totalitarian government. Remember Nazi Germany? The Soviet gulags? Fascist controls?
Add in the fact that our government is spending money like a drunken sailor with no regard for the inevitable consequences. Doesn’t anybody see what is going on in Greece? How about Cyprus, where the government is going into individual bank accounts and blatantly stealing the citizens’ money?
Why do the government and Homeland Security need to purchase 2,700 armored vehicles and armored trucks that can withstand improvised mines? Americans need to demand answers from their senators and representatives. If we lose all our rights as guaranteed under the Constitution, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. Can you trust the federal government and Homeland Security? I say if you lay back and do nothing, you’re bound to repeat history!
