Funeral coverage was appreciated

Thank you for featuring the services for fallen Illinois State Police Trooper James Sauter of District 15 on the front page. The powerful pictures and article recounted a beautiful ceremony and the heartfelt eulogies.

The men and women of law enforcement, fire service, EMS and military deserve this fitting coverage. Our communities absolutely need to read these stories. After all, these heroes are our neighbors and friends, just ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
