9 year old girl to represent hometown, Lake Zurich, as State Finalist in National American Miss Pageant!

Miss Suhanee Amul Patel, age 9 has been chosen as a State Finalist for the National American Miss Illinois Pageant to be held August 2nd and 3rd at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL. She will be participating along with other outstanding young ladies from Illinois. This event gives Suhanee a chance to share her Indian heritage as well as her talents. What makes Suhanee stand out?

Platform Issue

Empower girls to succeed: "In small villages of India and other poor countries girls do not get to go to school, learn and have fun with friends. They have to beg for money or get married at an early age. I want to give the girls the right to show the world they are beautiful and intelligent!"
