Palatine’s Journeys to hold first women’s luncheon

Journeys the Road Home, a Palatine-based nonprofit organization, will host a women’s luncheon, Garden of Giving, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Inverness Golf Club, 102 N. Roselle Road. The event, which will benefit local homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless, will feature lunch, raffle prizes and music by pianist Tom Van Dorn. Tickets are $45.
