Batavia needs fresh thinking

Steve Vasilion is the best candidate for Batavia’s Ward 5 alderman. At the March 13 candidates’ forum, Steve was articulate, intelligent and energetic. He presented new ideas and was clearly open to other ideas.

He is eager to ensure appropriate and progressive development in Batavia, and will work hard to reach conclusions on initiatives that have been so long under consideration but linger unresolved. The long-term incumbents at the same forum were understandably (given their role in creating the status quo) wedded to the current moribund state of affairs in Batavia; they were defensive and rigid, not open to moving forward.

Batavia needs fresh thinking and Vasilion will bring it.
