Rolling Meadows man charged with sexual assault

An investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services led Rolling Meadows police to file criminal sexual assault charges against a 33-year-old Rolling Meadows man.
Peter Henneken appeared in Rolling Meadows bond court Friday where Cook County Judge Jill Cerone Marisie set his bail at $200,000.
His 16-year-old accuser — who is acquainted with the defendant — told her high school teacher and a counselor that Henneken assaulted her last October, said Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Catherine Levine. A subsequent investigation led to Henneken’s arrest on Thursday.
Henneken, who has no other criminal background, must post $20,000 to be released from custody. He next appears in court on April 26.
