Palatine man charged with molesting girl

A Cook County judge set bail at $450,000 Wednesday for a Palatine man charged with molesting a 9-year-old girl.
Jose Juarez-Diaz, 50, could face up to 30 years in prison if he’s convicted on charges of predatory criminal sexual assault, a non-probationable, class X felony.
The girl told a nurse that the defendant had been molesting her for about four years and that over the last two months, he had molested her daily, said a spokeswoman for the office of the Cook County State’s Attorney.
