Judson softball runs win streak to 12

The Judson University softball rolled to another doubleheader sweep and ran its winning streak to 12 in a row Friday, defeating St. Francis 3-1 and 6-2.

Brittany Di Giola (2B, 2 RBI), Allison Catlett (2B, RBI) and Maddie Smith (2B) led the Judson offense while Sarah Boyer ran her pitching record to 7-1 on the season, throwing a 4-hitter with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk.

In Game 2, Amanda Hart cranked a 2-run home run to spark the Judson offense. Di Giola (2B), Amber Mysliwiec (2B, RBI) and Brianna Tennyson (2-for-3, 2 RBI) also contributed. Tennyson picked up the win, allowing just 3 hits.

Judson is now 19-5 on the season and 6-0 in the CCAC.
