Village of Lombard Invites Residents to Welcome German Exchange Students at Reception April 4
The reception will be held on April 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Community Room. Residents are invited to meet and greet the German students and their host families. Refreshments will be served.
There are currently 18 German students staying with 18 host families from Glenbard East High School, 16 families from Lombard, one from Glendale Heights and one from Bloomingdale. The German students travel to the United States every other year. Maries Huening, German instructor at Glenbard East High School, will be present at the reception with the students as well.
