Palatine law firm to hold tax debt seminars

Timothy Hughes, a partner at Lavelle Law in Palatine, will host free, one-hour seminars in April and May to assist taxpayers who need guidance working with the Internal Revenue Service on tax debts.

They will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays on April 2, April 16, April 30 and May 7 at the Lavelle Law offices, 501 W. Colfax, Palatine. Hughes said taxpayers can work out a variety of payment options, but should file their tax returns by the April 15 deadline.
