Cut out what’s nonessential

Mr. President,

Instead of laying off first responders, police, firefighters and teachers, why not lay off some of the 300,000 nonessential government workers! There is no good reason to have them anyway. All they do is suck up taxpayer money.

And while you’re at it, get rid of all nonessential government agencies that do nothing but duplicate another agency. We the taxpayers cannot afford them.

This would save many millions of dollars and help bring back the country’s economy. The sooner this is done, then better things will get better for everyone.
