Jack Beneventi Receives Football Scholarship Offer From the University of Illinois
Jack Beneventi, a Glen Ellyn resident and sophomore at Benet Academy in Lisle, received a football scholarship offer from the University of Illinois. In addition to the U of I offer Jack has also received offers from Western Michigan and the University of Massachusetts. Beneventi, (6- foot-6, 190 pounds) was the starting Varsity quarterback for Benet which advanced to the state semi finals and ended with an 11-2 record. Benet was 1-8 the prior year.
