Palatine Kiwanis to host an evening with Theodore Roosevelt

The Palatine Kiwanis Club will present a special appearance by Joe Wiegand, Theodore Roosevelt impersonator, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Lamplighter’s in downtown Palatine.

Wiegand, a graduate of Palatine High School, travels throughout the country bringing his convincing and entertaining portrayal of our 26th president to appreciative audiences wherever they live. He talks about TR’s life and adventures in a both informative and entertaining performance.

The event is open to the public with advance reservations necessary. Seats are limited. The cost for the event is $20. Hot and cold appetizers will be served, as well as a cash bar (ID required).
