District 96 Prairie School Staff Send Lunch to Sandy Hook

“Lunch is on us,” faculty from District 96 Prairie School (Buffalo Grove, IL) decided.

One Friday last month, they reached out to their counterparts from Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, to show their support for the school staff who experienced the unthinkable.

Prairie School second-grade teacher Lanie Spivack organized the donation, contacting a restaurant near the school to arrange for the lunch delivery.

Prairie teachers and support staff gave generously, eager to offer any kindness they could to demonstrate their caring.
