Poll Vault: What changes would you like the next pope to make?

When Benedict XVI was elected eight years ago, he was viewed by many as a “transitional” pope, one who wouldn't implement sweeping changes like some of his predecessors.

Benedict's retirement Thursday sets the stage for a new pontiff who could dramatically alter the face of Catholicism. Or not.

What are your hopes for the next pope? Would you prefer someone younger or perhaps someone from a non-European country?

Do you wish for a huge shift like allowing priests to marry or permitting women to join the clergy?

Or do you want to see a return to traditional practices, such as celebrating Mass in Latin.
