We have worked very hard in the last four years to bring commen sence back to village goverment . Crime is down in the village and I am proud of that . We have a finance comittie that watches out for the tax payers . But most of all I am committed to continuing to move Hanover park forward !Given the delicate balance between the need for revenue and over-taxing local businesses, what is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I am always committed to low taxes . We have not raised taxes and not cut any services . It is a delicate balance but we have to look at every option . Raising taxes should always be a last resort .Talking with your friends and neighbors, what seems to be their biggest public safety concern? The village is doing there best to Replace are old lights with new LED lighting.In these tight economic times, municipal budgets have to be prioritized. Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?We have done so much to streamline are budgets since 2009 we are always looking for waste. We're we see waste it will be a top priority to deal With it .What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Work hard to bring the north side of town and the south side of town closer Together .
