If yes, please explain: Candidate did not respond.Candidate's Key Issues Key Issue 1 I myself as well as my constituents are giving up our first years salary to put back into the community to institute programs for our Senior Citizens as well as put our youth to work thru summer jobs. Our youth are the future and our seniors are the roots of the community. Both are important so we must take care of them through growth and opportunity.Key Issue 2 I am committed to bringing economic growth to our community. I want to make our town hall a meeting place where we can hear and discuss our towns'issues and needs in an open forum where all can be heard!Key Issue 3 I want our current Village Officers to be held accountable for all the misspending and high salaries! My experience of being a business owner for over 23 years as well as my current profession in the banking industry gives me both the knowledge and insight of how important it is to bring in new business' to our community as well as continuing to put back into our current infrastructure.Given the delicate balance between the need for revenue and over-taxing local businesses, what is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.Currently in comparison to our surrounding communities our sales tax is comparable.Talking with your friends and neighbors, what seems to be their biggest public safety concern? Explain the concern as you see it, and discuss how you think it should be addressed.Overall neighborhood safety. I would like to work hand in hand with our neighborhood watch program to help its growth and development. I would also like to see all residents participate in this program.In these tight economic times, municipal budgets have to be prioritized. Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?Top administrative salaries should be cut and the savings would be well served in giving back basic services to our residents.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Making Bensenville a welcoming town where new business' want to come in to a Village that has an open door policy for all to come and discuss our towns needs. Also require business' to higher a percentage of Bensenville residents.
