When Dupage Township has seen a large increase of people still struggling and have seen an increase in residents having to use our General/Emergency Assistance Programs which assists them in paying their ultility bilss and / or mortage/ rent. We feel that our diverse senior population needs to continue to have a strong involvement in programs offered by the Levy Center to ensure they stay actice and social. 3. I want to join this winning team where Dupage Township needs to be able to collect the amount of food for over 15,000 visits per year, Duapage Township is less than 1% of the residents taxes and the township does not have the resources to pay for that amount of food on our own.In the 21st Century, with municipalities gobbling up vacant land, why are townships needed? The Dupage Township has already modified their role. General/Emergency ASsistance housing, youth services, pace services, senior programing, job fairs, that would be detrimental to trim or elimate programs to residents of Dupage Township. All this is done and still less than 1% of ther residents taxes,What specific background or experience do you bring that makes you the best qualified candidate to serve as an elected official in the township?In my 46 years of living in Dupage Township, I have seen a lot of changes. As a collector my main goal is to keep the towns cemetaries(in which early settlers and veterans are laid to rest)up so that we show how much we appreciate all that they have done for Dupage Township.
