Therefore, the need to raise sales tax levels is not warranted.Talking with your friends and neighbors, what seems to be their biggest public safety concern? I believe that this is because of the qualified Village Staff (administration, police and public works) we have put into place.In these tight economic times, municipal budgets have to be prioritized. Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?The current Village Trustees and Staff work very hard to create a budget that covers all of the Village's concerns and obligations. With our hard work to create and maintain that budget, we are able to offer the residents all of the Village services with no restrictions.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?I do not believe that there is one person with one idea. I believe that the Village Trustees work as a collaborative group in order to take all of our ideas and refine them to create policies which will work best for the Village.
