Whole Foods set to close in Palatine, open in Kildeer

Whole Foods in Palatine is preparing to permanently close to make way for the new Kildeer store’s grand opening at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 6. According to the Palatine location’s Facebook page, the store, located at 1331 N. Rand Road, likely will close Tuesday, March 5. A corporate spokeswoman could confirm only the Kildeer store’s opening date. The new, larger Kildeer store is located a few miles north at Rand and Plum Grove roads in the Kildeer Marketplace development. Whole Foods specializes in organic and natural products.
