Free tax service at Ela library

Ela Area Public Library in Lake Zurich will offer an opportunity for some residents to receive free tax preparation. The tax help will be available each Saturday through April 13. Seniors 60 and older qualify for the gratis tax help, as well as families with incomes of $35,000 or less and individuals who make $25,000 or less. Those wishing to take advantage of the free tax services must sign up in advance for appointments. Register by calling (847) 438-3433, online at eapl.org or sign up at the library’s information desk.
