Village Hall Front Lobby Construction to Begin January 28

The construction includes a remodel of the front counter area and is expected to last six weeks. Village staff will be relocated during the construction period to the Lilac Conference Room, which is just to the right upon entering the Village Hall. Front desk business will be conducted in this location until the construction has concluded.

“The Village has approved the remodeling project to help improve the ergonomics of the counter for residents/customers and employees,” according to Tom Ellis, Operations Superintendent in the Village's Public Works Department. “The project is adding two desk locations toward the rear of the counter area,” he added, and a large L.E.D. screen will showcase Village information and area activities for visitors. The project will match the work that was completed last year in the board room.”
