Geneva Academic Foundation hosts bowling, silent auction fundraiser!
Join us for an evening of fun at the Geneva Academic Foundation (GAF) Bowling and Silent Auction Fundraiser 'Bowl Us Over' on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Bowling Green Bowling Alley in West Chicago.
The event begins at 8:00pm and continues until about 11:30pm. Bowling Green is located at 243 W. Roosevelt Road in West Chicago.
Get your team of six ready or sign up by yourself and GAF will place you on a team. The bowling costs $25/person and includes 3 games of bowling, shoes, and appetizers.
There will be a cash bar, 50/50 raffle, and silent auction. Prizes will be awarded for the highest scoring teams and for the individual with the 'best bowling outfit'.
The first two games will be bowled as Scotch Doubles. New to Scotch Doubles? It is easy, fast, and fun. The third game will be Wacky Bowl! Rules are available on the GAF website (www.gafgeneva.org). Don't like to bowl? Come for the camaraderie and the Silent Auction! It will be a fun night!
Registration for bowling is being accepted online at the GAF website (www.gafgeneva.org) or you may email gafaware1@sbcglobal.net . Please include your name and phone number. Payment will be accepted at the event.
GAF is asking the community for help in collecting items for the silent auction. Donations of all types and sizes will be appreciated. We are especially looking for items such as trips, golf outings, spa packages, gift cards, etc. If you would like to donate an item, please contact Lisa Otto at lisaotto@comcast.net or call 630-715-6152.
