Financial forum for District 41:

Lake Villa Elementary District 41 hosts the first of two community forums Wednesday, Jan. 16 to discuss the work of the financial advisory committee. Superintendent John Van Pelt and members of the committee will present to parents and community members the pros and cons of the four focus areas the district is considering due to financial constraints. A second forum is planned for Jan. 22. Both will begin at 7 p.m. in the Palombi Middle School gym, 133 McKinley Ave., Lake Villa. Enter through the Student Activity entrance. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
