Cartoon insensitive to Newtown tragedy

I think it is most unfortunate you chose to run the Jan. 5 inappropriate cartoon of the “public servants.” I’m not really sure what the cartoonist’s intentions were and he has artistic freedom, but I’m disappointed in the DH’s decision to run this. It is insensitive, especially so soon after the Newtown, Conn. tragedy.

I doubt I am the only person writing you today.
