Edube brings excitement to the court for the Mustangs. He is averaging 19 points and is known for his high-flying game above the rim. Pokora is the point guard (11 points per game) and Delaquila is the team's leading three-point threat. Williams, a starter last year, is coming off of an injury and is currently the team's sixth man as he rounds back into shape. The Mustangs already have quality conference wins over Libertyville, Warren and Zion-Benton and played a tournament in California. Stevenson has become an intriguing team in the north suburbs, led by one of the state's top sophomores in explosive guard Brunson. Not only is Brunson making waves as an underclassman, he's climbing the ranks nationally and has already visited several major Division I programs as his recruiting continues to heat up. The Patriots wound up finishing fourth in the prestigious Proviso West Tournament in their first-ever appearance in the field.

Quotable: “Our team is playing well,” Mundelein coach Dick Knar said. “We have played an extremely tough schedule. Our guys have been competitive. Our team works hard. To keep getting better, we have to continue to improve our focus both on and off the court.”
