Comedian Larry Miller cancels show

Actor and comedian Larry Miller has canceled “An Evening With Larry Miller” on Jan. 12 at the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake.

The 58-year-old comedian is still recovering after suffering a near fatal head injury in the spring, according to People.com.

Miller's spokesman tells People that the comedian had gone into a coma and was put on life support for a month after hitting his head last April.

“He was hovering between life and death,” his spokesman, Michael Hansen, told People. “It's a miracle he woke up. ... He's lucky to be alive.”

Miller, who starred in “The Princess Diaries,” “Runaway Bride,” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” is expected to recover fully and has resumed work on his podcast, “This Week With Larry Miller.”
